If you already have your own point of sale equipment, it can be reprogrammed to work with your Total Merchant Services Retail Plan, so there is no need to purchase or lease additional equipment.
Getting accepted for a Total Merchant Services Retail Plan is easier than you might think. As long as your business is an acceptable type of business, you are likely to get approved for one of the different levels of retail plans available. The different levels of retail plan merchant accounts are based on your processing requirements and the percentage of card-present transactions you will process versus card-not-present transactions.
