A credit card that cares about more than money, the Kiva Business Card is the result of Kiva.org and Advanta's combined offer for small business owners and entrepreneurs. Just like Kiva.org works to provide small loans to people in developing countries (used to start businesses), the Kiva BusinessCard generates grants that are sent in the form of micro-loans to fund start-ups in developing countries. Finally, a credit card that believes in helping for the greater good!

Use your Kiva BusinessCard to donate by going to Kiva.org and selecting a business person in developing countries to loan the money to, and Advanta actually matches those grants dollar for dollar, up to $200 every month. If you pay your balance off in full within the grace period – that donation doesn't cost you anything more than if you had loaned the money from your pocket (because you aren't charged interest); yet the business owner gets double the money.

As you spend using your Kiva BusinessCard, you receive a 5% statement credit for giving through the Kiva organization and other charitable donations, as well as up to 1% from your purchases. Your interest rate on purchases is extremely competitive (and lower than many credit cards currently on the market).

In addition to supporting such a worthwhile cause, the Kiva BusinessCard succeeds at offering great benefits to the cardholders, as well. Competitive interest rates, no annual fee, and excellent cardholder perks round out the card. There are a number of benefits, including personalized business checks, online statements and report options, discounts on products and services through participating merchants.

As with all major credit cards, if your Kiva BusinessCard is lost or stolen, you have a $0 fraud liability. In order to qualify for the Kiva BusinessCard, you need to have a good credit history, and own your own business or otherwise be labeled an entrepreneur.
