Back when credit card programs were young, the Gold cards dominated the scene. But now with all of the other programs and offerings, these cards tend to get lost in the din of financial institutions intent on pushing their higher offerings to attract customers. The question is often asked as to why there is one available.
IberiaBank prides itself on customer service and support, and in so doing, realizes the need for a card of this type. You do not get to be 121 years old in the financial markets by refusing to listen to your customers. They know that not everyone has the same needs in a credit card, hence the IberiaBank Visa Gold Cash Back Rewards Card.
Cardholders earn a 1% cash rebate per dollar spent on all purchases in this rewards program. The amounts of the rebates are unlimited and they do not expire as long as the account is in good standing. These rebates can then in turn be used for merchandise, travel and gift certificates at participating restaurants and merchants who are enrolled in this program.
There is no annual fee and the interest rate is reasonably low for a reward card in this category. Not only that, but the card has a 0% introductory rate on balance transfers which are submitted during the first three months for the first six months of membership.
The other normal benefits of a Gold card membership apply: up to $500,000.00 in travel accident insurance, lost and stolen card reporting and online account access and management services.
