Together with Washington Mutual (WaMu), ESPN offers the ESPN Total Access Visa Card. It's one of the more comprehensive affinity credit cards designed for sports fans. The rewards earned from the use of this credit card results in the ability to redeem sports related items.
Sports fans using the ESPN Total Access Visa Card have a variety of additional and unique cardholder benefits not found on any other credit card, including getting access to VIP events and game-day access to sports events like professional championship games, all-star games for football, poker, tennis, basketball, golf and horse-racing. Also, you can use the ESPN Sports Concierge Service in order to plan your sports getaway to watch your favorite sporting events and redeem more points from the purchase of your travel arrangements. The concierge service helps make it possible to buy hard-to-find sporting events tickets, so you may be able to get the seats that are always sold out once you have the ESPN Total Access Visa card.
For every dollar you spend on your ESPN Total Access Visa card through ESPN, you'll receive five points; while every dollar spent elsewhere earns you one point. When you become a new cardholder, you will earn $2,500 bonus points after making your first purchase. You can start redeeming rewards as soon as you've reached 2,500 points, as well.
The ESPN card offers a six month introductory APR for both new purchases and balance transfers, allowing cardholders to go interest free and avoid balance transfer fees if they are transferred within the first 90 days of becoming a cardholder. After the promotional period ends, the interest rate remains below the industry average, and best of all- there is no annual fee despite the rewards that can be earned. Review Date: 3/31/2008
