Chase Slate is a credit card designed to help you keep on top of your finances. Thanks to email and text alerts, you'll never forget a due date for your Chase account. When you sign up for email and text alerts, you'll receive a customized email and/or text message reminder of due dates at no charge to you from Chase (standard text messaging rates from your wireless provider apply).
As with all United States-issued Chase credit cards, Chase Slate offers a zero liability policy whicih protects you from unauthorized credit purchases made on your card. Keep your personal identification number (PIN) safe however, as withdrawals made through an ATM or PIN purchases made using your card will not be covered under the zero liability policy. To further protect you from fraudulent activities, Chase Slate provides patented fraud protection with 24/7 monitoring of your account for suspicious activity. Chase will notify you via email or telephone in the event they see any transaction that is out-of-the-ordinary.
Chase Slate does not charge an annual fee to cardholders, and cardholders have a 20 day grace period during which time they can make payments on purchases without interest or finance charges.
Chase Slate features “Blueprint”, a unique set of features that allows cardholders to plan, and manage finances according to their own terms. It's free to use and easy to set up. You can choose to pay for certain purchases in full to avoid paying interest (and these items will be shown separately on your statement) or you can split a larger purchase and set pay-off date goals (and these will be shown separately on your statement to make it easier to keep track of). Blueprint also offers tools to show you how to pay off your balance faster and to view trends in your spending habits. Review Date: 10/20/2009
