Chase Freedom from Chase Bank, USA, gives you the freedom to experience unlimited cash back, starting with $50 cash back when you make your first purchase using your new credit card. This is a one time offer for first-time Chase Freedom card members. Beyond this bonus rebate, you'll earn a full 1% cash back on every purchase for every dollar spent on the card; with 10% to 20% cash back from select merchants when you shop online through Chase Ultimate Rewards Mall. To round out the cash back offerings of your Chase Freedom card, there is an option to earn 3% cash back for purchases made in rotating categories in home improvement, gas, and department stores.

While there are a number of ways to earn cash back using your Chase Freedom card, there are some restrictions and limitations. For example, rebates are not earned on cash advances, balance transfers or charges that are similar to cash – including travelers checks, money orders, overdraft advances or foreign currency.

As with all United States-issued Chase credit cards, the Freedom card offers fraud protection with zero liability for any unauthorized purchase made using your Chase Freedom credit card. The zero liability policy doesn't apply to transactions completed at ATMs or through PIN transactions not processed by Mastercard however, so it's important to keep your personal identification number safe. Debit transactions (like those completed on credit cards with personal identification numbers and withdrawals from ATMs) are not protected under the same federal laws as credit card transactions.

There is no annual fee for using the Chase Freedom credit card or to participate in the cash back program. There are no limits to the amount of cash back you can earn. Chase Freedom cardholders have a 20 day grace period for paying off their credit card without interest.
