The Business Green Rewards card offers cardholders a great rewards program. Its annual fee is high, but the rewards accumulate quickly. The Business Green Rewards card offers 1 point for every dollar spent on the card. It also gives cardholders 5,000 bonus points when they make their first purchase with the card. The redemption program is fairly extensive, so points can be redeemed in denominations as small as 400. Points never expire and there is no limit to the number cardholders can build up.
The card also gives access to the OPEN small business network. The OPEN network provides businesses with discounts on essential services like telephone, shipping, car rentals and printing. The OPEN program puts no pre-set spending limit on cards, offers fee-free additional cards, offers online management tools, and gives access to expert advice from business- and credit-savvy agents.
Additional benefits of the card not covered under the OPEN program or the rewards program include insurance protection, emergency card replacement or check cashing assistance, round-the-clock customer service access, and an extended payment option that allows cardholders to pay for large purchases over time (this option requires enrollment and eligibility).
The card is a charge card, which means that purchases made with the card must be paid in full when the monthly bill arrives. Payments made late are subject to fees equal to the greater of $30 or 2.99% of the overdue balance. The annual fee for the card is $95.
