Open an FDIC insured deposit account with Applied Bank, and the amount you deposit into your deposit account is the credit limit your Secured Visa gold card will have. You must deposit a minimum of $200 and a maximum limit of $5,000.
All Applied Bank Secured Visa Gold cards come with a 9.99% fixed rate APR that doesn't change even if you make a payment late. Your payments toward the Applied Bank Secured Visa Gold card purchases will be reported to the major credit reporting bureaus, so take the opportunity to establish or rebuild a strong credit score by making payments on time.
The Applied Bank Secured Visa Gold card is accepted at all locations that accept Visa around the world. There is a $50 annual fee that is deducted from your available balance. There is no grace period on purchases, which means anything you buy or pay for using your Secured Visa Gold will begin receiving the fixed APR from the first day. There are fees for over the limit and late payments, as well as a minimum finance charge even if you don't make any purchases. If you use your card for foreign transactions, a 1% fee applies.
